Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Mechanic III to support weekend night‑shift maintenance operations. This senior‑level role is ideal for a highly skilled electromechanical technician with extensive experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex production machinery. You'll work in a fast‑paced environment with strong processes, supportive leadership, and long‑term stability.

Work Schedule: Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 4:00PM–4:00AM


Please Note: This role includes a shift differential of +$3.25 per hour.


Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and close work orders in a CMMS.
  • Prepare new machines for operation and ensure proper setup.
  • Conduct routine safety and performance testing on machinery.
  • Demonstrate expert‑level understanding of production machinery and equipment.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collect and analyze machine‑operation data to identify trends and reduce downtime.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot motors, pumps, conveyor systems, and advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain production machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Welding experience sufficient to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently on complex repairs.
  • Ability to read and work from diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Two‑year Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • CMMS proficiency ability to search for parts, enter work orders, and document maintenance activity.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on electromechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Expert‑level troubleshooting of motors, advanced hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyors, and production machinery.

Physical & Employment Requirements:

  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. (pre‑employment physical required)
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
