Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Net Revenue Analyst to support system‑level net revenue reporting, reimbursement analytics, and monthly close activities. This role is ideal for someone with deep healthcare net revenue expertise who can independently analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and support leadership with actionable insights.

This is a senior‑level individual contributor role with visibility across finance, revenue cycle, and managed care teams.

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – must be able to report onsite with short notice)

Requirements:

  • Serve as a lead analyst and subject‑matter resource for net revenue and reimbursement analytics.
  • Support the monthly financial close process, including ensuring data, accuracy, preparing trend models, investigating rate variances and preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and performance drivers.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of net revenue reserve methodologies.
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external reporting, including auditors.
  • Produce managed care contract performance and reimbursement trending reports.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across finance, revenue cycle, and managed care.
  • Participate in system implementations and enhancements related to net revenue tools and reimbursement software.
  • Stay current on regulatory and reimbursement changes affecting commercial and government payors.
  • Engage with the Crowe RCA/Kodiak user community to share insights and best practices.
  • Support departmental goals and maintain required competencies and continuing education.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Strong knowledge of revenue accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 7 years of healthcare net revenue experience.
  • Kodiak (Crowe) experience required and non‑negotiable.
  • Working knowledge of reimbursement structures for commercial and government payors.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Experience retrieving and manipulating data from systems such as: Excel, Lawson, EPSI, Crowe RCA.
  • Must reside in the Houston area or be able to report onsite quickly as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior analysts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
