Our client is seeking a District Manager/Executive Director of Clinical Engineering to oversee HTM operations for a major 23‑hospital academic health system in Cleveland, OH. Requirements:

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Lead HTM/Clinical Engineering operations across a large, multi‑hospital health system.
• Develop and execute strategies that drive operational excellence, service quality, and business growth.
• Ensure delivery of predictable, reliable, and compliant HTM services across all sites.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary executive‑level point of contact for the health system.
• Build and maintain strong governance structures, communication rhythms, and trust with senior clinical and administrative leaders.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of HTM professionals across multiple locations.
• Support succession planning and talent development to strengthen organizational capability.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety programs across all sites.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Assess financial risks and opportunities, manage budgets, and communicate results to internal leadership and the client.

Technology & Cybersecurity Awareness

• Oversee the performance, lifecycle, and reliability of clinical equipment.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies related to medical devices and healthcare technology.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven success managing multi‑site operations and large, diverse teams.
• Experience building and maintaining executive‑level client relationships.
• Understanding of cybersecurity considerations related to healthcare technology.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in Healthcare Technology Management or Clinical Engineering within a large healthcare environment.
• Strong business acumen, decision‑making ability, and budget management experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and clinical asset management tools.
• Professional certifications such as CHTM or CCE (preferred, not required)
• Experience within an academic health system or large integrated delivery network.
