Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to support general accounting, job costing, sales tax compliance, and month‑end close activities in a manufacturing environment. This position interacts regularly with internal departments, project managers, and auditors. Success requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple customized projects, and comfort working one Sunday per month during close.

Work Schedule: 8AM-5PM or 7:30AM–4:30PM
Compensation: $75,000 base + annual bonus
Month‑End Requirement: Works one Sunday per month (4/4/5 close calendar) with the following Friday off
Requirements:
- Monitor cycle count program compliance.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
- Prepare audit materials within required timelines.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and balance sheets.
- Assist the Controller with various accounting tasks and projects.
- Partner with Project Managers on progress billing and collections.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and validated invoice payments.
- Review job contracts and gather documentation to prepare accurate job‑costing spreadsheets.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
- Net Link (or similar manufacturing ERP)
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong communication and time‑management skills.
- Ability to analyze balance sheets and P&L statements.
- Job costing, cost accounting, or inventory accounting experience.
- Ability to work one Sunday per month and additional hours during deadlines.
- Experience supporting customized, project‑based manufacturing environments.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience within the last 5 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing accounting experience accepted.
