Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Information Architect to support a global intranet transformation initiative. This role will focus on designing an intuitive, scalable, and user‑centered information architecture that enhances colleague experience, improves content findability, and aligns with organizational standards. The Information Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, UX designers, and developers to deliver a modern intranet that supports business goals and compliance requirements.

Contract Duration: 6 months | W2
Requirements:
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to optimize structure.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze intranet requirements.
- Design and document navigation models, site maps, and content taxonomies.
- Develop metadata schemas and naming conventions to ensure consistent content organization.
- Create wireframes and navigation flows to guide intranet design and development.
- Collaborate with content owners, UX, and IT teams to implement and refine architecture.
- Ensure intranet architecture supports accessibility standards and works across devices.
- Maintain documentation of IA decisions and communicate benefits to stakeholders.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with usability testing methods and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in site maps, wireframes, navigation flows, and taxonomy design.
- 10+ years of experience as an Information Architect, ideally with intranet or enterprise content management projects.
- Strong knowledge of information architecture principles, user‑centered design, and content strategy.
- Hands‑on experience with intranet/content management platforms (SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 preferred)
- Experience working in global, cross‑functional teams and agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.
