Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Assistant Foreman to support daily onsite operations for residential pool installation projects. This role works closely with the Foreman to plan, organize, and execute installation tasks while guiding crew members, maintaining jobsite readiness, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role with clear opportunities to grow into a Foreman position.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate project needs clearly to keep installations on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot onsite challenges and help identify practical solutions.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
  • Assist the Foreman with planning, organizing, and executing pool installation tasks.
  • Lead by example through strong work ethic, professionalism, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Guide crew members by demonstrating techniques and helping newer team members learn.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely, including excavation tools and installation machinery.
  • Support job-site readiness through layout assistance, material staging, equipment checks, and site cleanup.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • 3+ years of construction or installation experience (pool installation a plus)
  • Willingness to learn leadership skills and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate basic construction equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in pool installation.
  • Interest in advancing into a Foreman role.
  • Familiarity with excavation tools or installation machinery.
