Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapists to join a hospital‑based Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) serving a diverse adult patient population. This role focuses on helping patients regain independence following neurological, orthopedic, medical, and post‑surgical events. The therapist will evaluate, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence‑based interventions in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

This position primarily supports the ARU but may also provide care across inpatient and outpatient therapy settings as needed.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–5PM | Weekend & Holiday Rotation

Requirements:

• Maintain a safe, patient‑centered treatment environment.
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, case management, and physicians.
• Document accurately and in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop goal‑oriented treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, safety, and equipment use.
• Support therapy needs across ARU, Med/Surg, and outpatient settings when required.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state of practice.

Preferred Skill:

• Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or hospital‑based therapy settings.
