Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Signage Operations to lead the full lifecycle of the company's signage division, including design, engineering, fabrication, production, installation, and project management. This executive role is responsible for division strategy, operational excellence, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. VP will modernize processes, elevate quality, and scale the signage business through strong leadership, innovation, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements:
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth, quality, and profitability across the signage division.
- Lead, mentor, and develop directors, managers, and supervisors across design, production, installation, and project management.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement new technologies, materials, and fabrication methods to maintain industry leadership.
Operational Management
- Manage division budgets, forecasting, and full P&L performance.
- Optimize workflow, resource allocation, and cross-department processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, UL requirements, and local permitting regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
Customer & Business Development
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support new business opportunities and strengthen key client relationships.
- Participate in major project bids, proposals, and presentations to ensure competitive and accurate submissions.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Performance & Quality
- Establish and monitor KPIs for production throughput, installation timelines, quality benchmarks, and margin performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
- Ensure all signage projects meet brand, aesthetic, structural, and technical requirements.
Team & Talent Development
- Build and retain a high-performing leadership team across all signage functions.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to grow internal talent.
- Promote strong collaboration between design, fabrication, installation, and project management teams.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role.
- Proven success leading large-scale production and installation operations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in signage (highly preferred), fabrication, or construction-related industries.
- Expertise in signage materials, fabrication methods, production workflows, and installation processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a customer-focused mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, industrial design, engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred)
