Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician III to support commercial clients. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician who excels at troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining digital imaging equipment such as copiers, printers, and multi‑function devices (MFPs). You'll work directly at customer sites, ensuring equipment uptime, delivering high‑quality service, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.

Requirements:

  • Ensure all assigned devices meet operational and performance standards.
  • Follow customer‑specific site protocols, including safety and health requirements.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, strong communication, and customer‑focused service.
  • Support a 24/7 customer environment, including shift work and on‑call rotations as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and break/fix repairs on digital imaging equipment (copiers, printers, MFPs)
  • Respond promptly and professionally to field service calls within an assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including Field Service Reports and expense logs.
  • Identify and report equipment performance issues, failure trends, and serviceability concerns.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Ability to obtain customer‑required clearances for site access.
  • General or vocational technical training plus 2–4 years of related field service experience.
  • Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Prior experience servicing electromechanical, imaging, or digital printing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to meet technical quality and productivity standards.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (travel required within territory)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active for extended periods (walking, standing, kneeling, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 customer‑driven environment with rotating shifts and on‑call duties.
