Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience to support 3rd‑shift operations in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining CNC equipment, mechanical presses, and industrial control systems to ensure maximum uptime and production reliability.

Contract Duration: 6 months | Contract-to-Hire (based on performance and business needs) | W2

Work Schedule: 11:00PM–7:30AM | 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
  • Document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Maintain and repair CNC lathes, warm forge presses, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose issues with AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, and industrial controls.
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting background (preferred)
  • Automotive or heavy manufacturing experience
